Education & Opportunity Unlocking Potential Through Learning
Education is more than a classroom experience. It is the foundation of lasting change and the bridge to opportunity, dignity, and empowerment.
At ZAM USI, we remove the financial, social, and structural barriers that prevent children from attending school, ensuring that every learner, no matter their background, can discover and fulfill their potential.
In 2025, education represented 80% of all ZAM USI program funding, directly supporting dozens of students across underserved communities. Through scholarships, uniforms, school supplies, transportation support, and ongoing academic guidance, we kept children in school and expanded their future pathways.
We also broadened access to technical, vocational, and digital skills training, giving youth and young mothers the tools they need to secure employment, build self-reliance, and step into leadership roles within their communities

Mentorship & Family Empowerment
At ZAM USI, we believe that lasting transformation begins at home. Children flourish when their families are supported, empowered, and connected to a community that shares their hopes for the future.
Our Mentorship and Family Empowerment programs equip students, parents and guardians with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to become positive role models and leaders in their households and communities.

One-on-one and group students/parenting workshops
Coaching circles
Life-skills and leadership training
we help families build resilience, strengthen character, and nurture values that uplift both their children and their community. Parents become advocates for education, health, and gender equity creating a supportive environment where every child can thrive.
In 2025, 10% of ZAM USI’s total program funding was dedicated to Mentorship & Family Empowerment. Through this investment, we mentored 18 parents in structured group sessions and personalized one-on-one guidance.
Each parent became a catalyst for change strengthening household dynamics, deepening community ties, and fostering a culture of compassion, responsibility, and unity.

Health, Nutrition & Gender Equity
At ZAM USI, we ensure children have the health, nourishment, and safety they need to learn and thrive. Our programs provide meals, basic health care, hygiene education, and gender-equity support—removing barriers that keep students out of school.
